When the wedding the night before goes into the morning hours, and the early morning service the next day is scheduled for our breakfast guests – this is when a true team spirit shows itself.

Markus Derkits, our manager, leads the team of the Schlossrestaurant Hellbrunn with a lot of warmth and understanding. Not only our guests should feel comfortable with us, but the well-being of our team is also very important to us! So we are grateful that all our employees have been with us for more than 5 years, some even more than 10 years!

Markus Derkits, Banquet- and Catering Manager

Markus is part of our team for almost a year and is responsible for the operational event management. His Gassner career started during an internship at the "Schlosswirt in Anif", where he returned after graduating from school. After two years as deputy operations manager in our sister company "Stiegl-Klosterhof" in Linz, he is now caring for your wedding, company event and catering. Simone Pachebat, Eventplanner

Simone is your first contact person for any reservations at our restaurant. Her passion is event planning. As a trained wedding planner, she is a specialist for all questions relating to your wedding and supports you from planning to the actual wedding day. Simone has been part of our team since 2022 and has been an integral part since then. Thank you Simone for your loyalty and commitment!

Patrick Schirmbrand, Chef

Patrick Schirmbrand is a prime example of the diverse career opportunities available at Gassner. From 2016 to 2019, he completed his culinary apprenticeship at the Hellbrunn Palace Restaurant, laying the foundation for his career. In 2020, he moved to our sister establishment, the Klosterhof in Linz, where he gained valuable experience. Between 2022 and 2025, he worked at various establishments, including the fine dining restaurant Schlosswirt zu Anif. He returned to Hellbrunn as head chef in 2026 - and we are delighted to have him back with us.

Franciska Bene, Restaurant Manager

Franciska Bene is our dedicated restaurant manager at Schlossrestaurant Hellbrunn. She was already part of our team back in 2018, delighting guests with her warm and attentive service. After her time in Hellbrunn, she gained valuable experience at our sister establishment, the Stiegl-Klosterhof in Linz. In 2025, she returned to Hellbrunn — and we are truly delighted to now have her as our restaurant manager. With her keen intuition, strong organizational skills, and charming presence, she brings a distinctly feminine touch that enriches our team and the entire guest experience.

Daut Mehmedoski, Banquet Manager

Daut Mehmedoski is our banquet manager at the Hellbrunn Castle Restaurant and a familiar face at our company. Daut completed his training as a restaurant specialist at our sister establishment, Schlosswirt zu Anif, where he gained valuable experience in fine dining and event management. His passion for hospitality and his eye for detail were already evident during his apprenticeship. Daut has been with us in Hellbrunn since 2025, and since the 2026 season, he has served as our banquet manager, overseeing all events and weddings in Hellbrunn. We are delighted to have him on our team - his dedication and reliability are a tremendous asset to our establishment.
